A WHOLLY owned subsidiary of Jardine Matheson has been appointed Taiwan dealer for Caterpillar, the US construction and industrial engineering company.

  Jardine has bought some of the assets of the previous dealer, Cathcan Equipment. It will operate service facilities as well as importing and selling Caterpillar equipment.
