Shareholder reduces stake

The substantial shareholder of K. Wah Construction Materials, Lui Che-woo, has reduced his stake in the company to 7.01 per cent from 16.96 per cent by placing 77 million shares to private and institutional investors at $1.30 each. Mr Lui, who does not plan to lower his holding further, will generate $100.1 million from the sale.
