Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, ADCECO Group continues to bring to Abu Dhabi the most distinguished international companies and execute projects considered as landmarks in the whole Arab region.
"Our success stems from the time Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan opened wider doors to attract global business. ADCECO Group chairman Obaid Bin Saleh has also played a key role to our success," says general manager M.B. Hamad.
"We have grown with the country and will align our business with the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision under the leadership of president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and crown prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan."
Through ownership, joint venture or sponsorship, ADCECO Group contributes in building Abu Dhabi. With more than 30 companies worldwide, it is considered one of the Arab Gulf's leading conglomerates.
The success of each represented or partner company is a testament to ADCECO Group's solid track record.
For instance, the group has executed the region's first two independent water and power production plants, Taweelah A2 and Shuweihat S1, with the United States' CMS Energy.
ADCECO Group has enabled Netherlands-based BAM International to construct a number of landmarks including Sulphur jetty terminal, the main export port at Ruwais, and the iconic Emirates Palace Hotel. BAM also built the Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites on Yas Island and a gas foundation at Taweelah.
Its continuing projects include the Premier Inn Hotel at the Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain city's upcoming new landmark, the Al-Ain Stadium.
International Management & Construction Corporation, one of ADCECO Group's subsidiaries, also leverages the group's network in the region. It has fabricated four semi-submersible hulls in its dry dock in Abu Dhabi, and built port container cranes, drilling rigs and vessels for worldwide use.
Recognising the mainland's growing impact on the global market, ADCECO Group is inviting reputable mainland companies to invest in Abu Dhabi's hotels, buildings, vocational private academies, car repair workshops, medium-sized industries, dry food processing, agricultural, forestry and other feasible projects. These projects target the Co-operation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the Middle East and African markets.
ADCECO Group sees the mainland as a promising driver for its expansion, having worked with different mainland-based companies such as manufacturers and solar energy suppliers. It welcomes sponsorships of companies, joint ventures and partnerships, particularly in petrochemical projects and property developments throughout the UAE, the Middle East and North Africa.
